How Invincible Season 2 will differ from the comics?
It’s clear that Invincible has some plot elements that are different from the comic book source material. Firstly, the focus on Mark Grayson seems to indicate a more personal feel to the series and his relationship with his girlfriend Dana will be played out more intensely, more than just a distraction from his superhero work.
With the arrival of Ezekiel Alderman, something big will have to happen. The show is aware that the comic book runs short on plot when it comes to this important antagonist, so we have a feeling that something big will be coming after Invincible season 2 release date, perhaps something that leads to a bigger threat to Mark’s new life.
Mark’s parents will be back and more passionate than ever
The big unknown in the early stages of Invincible season 2 release date is whether the comics’ parents will be at all involved. After season one, the rules were not immediately clear as to how Invincible would be able to bring Mark’s parents back to life after the first death, so all speculation will be welcome. Other notable characters in Invincible season two will be Will Queen and Leah Clearwater, two of Mark’s school friends who had both decided to end their friendships with Mark because of the turmoil that came with the arrival of his superpowers. Will they be back? Let’s hope so, they’re great characters.
You can also look forward to the arrival of the Mind Flayer in Invincible season 2. The Mind Flayer is an alien creature that controls minds and is responsible for a number of the most iconic moments in the Invincible comics. However, Invincible season two will definitely take place in a different world to the comic, so it’ll be interesting to see how much those classic moments end up making it in the show after Invincible season 2 release date.
What do we want to see from the second season?
Season two of Invincible will undoubtedly be an improvement on season one and a better representation of the character that the series has been based around. Season one unfortunately feels somewhat forgettable, and this could be down to the problem of leaving those key cast members out of the trailer for season two.
Personally, we’d like to see a bit more of the background of Invincibles’ history explored. Whether the team will be moved to Los Angeles or the outer reaches of space is unclear, but what we do know is that it’s going to be pretty weird and it needs to be given some of the attention it’s been getting. Finally, we want to see Mark embrace his destiny as a hero more than he did in the first season. After the death of Billy Flynn, that’s going to take some effort for Mark to keep pushing forward and going back to basics, so we’d love to see him explore that struggle a bit more in season two. Let’s see what will happen after the Invincible season 2 release date.
